New Music: Trizz - The Backstreet feat. G Perico

Trizz makes music that every hip-hop fan needs to be listening to, and his newest joint 'The Backstreet' is another example of the genre at its peak.
He calls on South Central's G Perico for a feature on this one, and the result is a chilling narrative of the life they've experienced in the West Coast streets they call home. Storytelling is a rapidly fading skill in hip-hop, but these two are the perfect reminder that it isn't dead yet.
Produced by AC3 Beats, the track has a sinister feel. With synths resembling the repertoire of Dr Dre and piano that could be used in Steven King movie, it knocks while simultaneously giving you the creeps.
Both of these artists are the epitome of authenticity, telling a story filled with girls, guns and crime without glorifying the lifestyle. This doesn't sound like stuff they necessarily wanted to do, but it was the life they had to live.
