New Music: Solomonilla: Dec. 1st (rough EP)

Not sure how we hadn't seen Solomonilla before, but we are definitely glad that we stumbled across his music. He recently dropped a rough EP titled Dec 1st that has us tuned in and anxious to see what's up next.

Much of the project isn't mixed, so if you're looking for top notch sound quality, this won't cut it. But it's enough to see how complete of an artist Solomonilla is. He isn't afraid to play with his sound, and you never know what kind of song to expect when you're listening.

Some of his songs are heavily autotuned, relying solely on what Solomonilla can do with his vocals. Others are more lyrical, with tactical flows being used to deliver punchlines that'd get nods from even the purest of hip hop heads.

'Fuck 12' is a definite standout. Solomonilla comes with a flow that sounds natural and catchy over a beat that he and DuncanBarton collaborated on. It's a sensational instrumental with synths that'll send your mind to another world.
