KII - NIghtingale (album)

This is our first time being introduced to KII, an LA singer who's making melodic ballads over a variety of different styles of beats. You could try to compare his sound to another singer, but no matter who you choose, it'd be a reach. There's something about KII's voice and songwriting that is so organic and new that it just kind of sucks you in, making the 10-track project easy to listen to in one sitting.
Each song is a story, with a concept strong enough for even a casual listener to pick up on. Good songwriting is not something that happens overnight. This is obviously something that KII takes pride in, and it really shows when you give his music an attentive listen. He taps in with a slew of producers who all contribute quality beats: Levi Thomas, KOB, Kingbnjmn, Chiveer, Tyjuan, Attomic Beatz & Flxtch!
