Rozay Royce - Figueroa EP & '453' (video)

Rozay Royce is making a major splash this week with the release of his Figueroa EP & a video for '453.' West Coast vibes dominate the project, making Figueroa the perfect name for it. The street is one of LA's most famous, running right by The Coliseum, STAPLES Center & many other famous LAndmarks.

Royce's rap style is classic, relying on steady flow and bars that are as out of the box as humanly possible. He tells the story of a young man from South Central who made things happen on his own; a story that's cold and unforgiving, yet addicting to listen to. The 6-track EP has only two features from Eclip$e & Randy Savvy, who both compliment Royce well.

'453' is the first song to get a visual from the project, and it's a standout track off of Figueroa. Paupa channels his inner DJ Mustard with the high pitched synths used, but mixes things up with an unorthodox bassline & a variety of other sounds. The video depicts Royce in some royal blue Chuck Taylors as he talks his shit on LA rooftops and streets. Watch & listen below:
