Rosecrans ENT. artist Mari Ruger is back on SLAP with his first music of the year -- his new mixtape For Da Love of Money. It's an 8 song collection of professional grade hip hop, with some quality mixing and production throughout.
Mari Ruger is as authentic as they come, with an unfiltered narrative of his life in the streets of Compton. He's got a command of his delivery that you can't teach, a natural flow that just sounds like he's supposed to be a rapper, as opposed to trying to be one.
For Da Love of Money is music for the streets, but anybody can relate to the underlying themes of coming from nothing, keeping your circle small, and persisting when shit gets tough.
