South Central artist Correy C returns to SLAP in a big way today with his new project Digital Scale. It's a 7-track mixtape with no features, allowing Correy C to fully display his arsenal despite having a small number of songs. Nowadays, seven is a perfect number for a project with anyways -- with society's toddler-like attention span.
Digital Scale is produced entirely by fellow Committee Records members Meez & LouieJi, who know exactly how to set the stage for Correy C's crispy autotuned vocals. It also features co-production from DeeJay Wes, D2, Chef Mitchell, DJ Swish & Darrius 1500. Art masterminds the project with his professional-grade mixing.
Most people think auto tune and assume that there's going to be a lack of lyrical content, but that's not the case with Correy C. Even while flexing or talking about turning up, there's always an underlying ode to realness & staying true to yourself. He embodies who he is and leaves no room for interpretation when it comes to the kind of man he is.

His vocals are truly refined at this point. Each melody hits with Future-like excellence, all the while carving out his own lane in the highly competitive world of auto-tune rap. This is a project that gets better each time you listen. I listened two times before writing this review & there's so many elements that go over your head the first time.
