Producer Active Tracks comes through with a self-produced EP featuring the likes of Keilo, Famous Far & RobTwo. The first track on this EP sets the tone for the extraterrestrial, shadowy production that gives so many layers to dive through.
Whats the most striking about this project is how all these artists work in tandem with each other. The production is hard on every beat and the artist do it justice. A prime example is Keilo's hook/verse on 'F.I.Y.S' that combines catchiness and grit, giving momentum to the Famous Far and RobTwo to do their thing. This is a formula that works. Active Tracks has incredible variability, creating epic soundscapes on tracks like 'Wave' and making blown out, ethereal trap on tracks like 'In My Bag'. Nothing about this project is monotonous and packs so much into its relatively short lifespan (15 mins). Any song on here can stand on its own, demonstrating the overall strength and playability.
