LA artist Rit$y recently dropped off an enticing new video for his song 'Coolin.'It's wacky, it's nonchalant, and it's just fun to watch and listen to. It's got an "I'm not really taking this seriously" kind of vibe to it that brings to mind The Cool Kids back in the day.
The minimalist style of the Ninedy2 produced beat is exactly what Rit$y needs to shine brightest on. There's never more than a few sounds going on at once, and most of the track is bass.
'Coolin' has an effortless sense of cool to it, and 6th Element does an outstanding job of mixing up creative shots without overdoing it. Rit$y is a refreshing change of pace from a lot of music right now. Sometimes you don't need music that sounds like it's trying to be the most epic song of all time, every time. Sometimes you just need shit that knocks, and this it. Watch below:
