TSwish - Keep It Player 2 (mixtape)

TSwish has spent the last few weeks building hype for his mixtape Keep It Player 2, and over the weekend we finally got it. Clocking in @ 18 tracks, it's a pretty lengthy project by today's standards. However, a wide variety of vibes across the songs keep Keep It Player 2 from sounding repetitive or dull.

TSwish has ties to G Perico's So Way Out movement as well as HitMob; and you hear both influences clearly in his style of rap. It adds up to a sound that is definitively West Coast, while maintaining a uniqueness that TSwish has carved out for himself. Production on this project is what puts it over the top. TSwish's connections in LA's rap community allow him to tap in with some of the city's finest beat conductors. Producer credits on Keep It Player 2 go to JoogFTR, BeatBoy, Cypress Moreno, Saltreze, AceTheFace, Poly Boy, Khalil, Ralphiee, WebbMadeThis & Hollywood. It's a stacked roster of some of the cities hardest doing it right now. In terms of features, the project is also unmatched. Appearances from G Perico, Desto Dubb, AzSWAYE, Ketchy The Great, Spiffie Luciano, A1, YC Creez, JugHype, Doughhunt Twin, Solo & Donny Loc add to the projects flair and overall vibe. You're getting a taste from many aspects of the city on Keep It Player 2. TSwish is aligned with much of LA's new wave of rapper and producers.
