CARTER - THUG NOW (video)

Local rap duo CARTER (Melo Meezy & Dean Caine) are on SLAP for the first time with a creative set of visuals for 'THUG NOW.' The song tells the story of somebody trapped in the hood, with a gun as their most vital possession. Rather than shooting a video for the song, CARTER chooses to cut up footage from an anime show called Wolf's Rain. The images don't completely match up to the song, but they tie in enough to get you engaged as you watch and listen. The song is produced by Dean Caine and induces vibes similar to Travis Scott with both artists tapping into their auto tune skills. It's a cool approach to music videos, and shows more creativity than just gathering in a room with your friends and pointing guns at the camera. Watch below:
