Stinc Team - Free The Stinc Team - Not Guilty EP

After leading a #FreeTheStincTeam campaign over the weekend, the team of mostly incarcerated rappers dropped a 5-song EP today entitled Free The Stinc Team - Not Guilty.
This Monday was Drakeo The Ruler's first court date, where the LAPD formally hit him with the murder charges reported in Jeff Weiss' jail interview with Drakeo. Fittingly, the first song 'Murder Was The Case' is a single verse & hook called in directly from the downtown LA Men's Central jail, as a distorted Drakeo takes aim at the police department intent on locking him and the Stinc Team up.
If he beats the case, this song is going to be one of the most legendary moves in rap history. Laughing in the face of the people that currently have him locked up while continuing to preach his innocence and the crooked intent of the LAPD.Â
The middle of the project serves as a platform for the other members of the StincTeam to remind us all what was about to start popping off before their indictment. Appearances from Ralfy The Plug, Ketchy The Great, Sayso The Mac, and Bambino all come as they await court dates as well. The only artist on the project not locked up is Young Bull.Â
A Drakeo collaboration with Bay Area hitmaker All Black & LA's Bino Rideaux closes out the project, as the three come together to explain their lack of respect for all the internet gangster shit.

Production on the tape is impressive. It almost always is when you're able to tap into the list of producers that the Stinc Team has worked with. Producer credits on Free The Stinc Team go to LowTheGreat, Al B Smoov, YFK98, Duse, Navin & SaysoTheMac.
Not Guilty as a project is a little tap on the shoulder for anybody that was beginning to forget about or doubt the potential that they all have. Not Guilty as a movement is a fight for the lives of five men, and a message to the LAPD that you need facts and evidence to convict someone for murder. As the case unfolds, we'll see if they've actually got any. At this point, it doesn't seem likely. Listen below:
