The record is a little Young Thug-ish, yet you pick up the West Coast influence from the Compton native as well. His vocal control is up there with anybody else doing it, with a style of singing/rapping that he can completely call his own. Roddy continues to solidify himself as a leader among LA's new rappers, but he stands alone from the rest of the pack thanks to original music and an image that is shaping up to be different than every one else.
