New Music: AzSWAYE Drops SWAYEMADDEN

AzSWAYE just dropped off his new tape SWAYEMADDEN, and it's a strong reminder that he is one of LA's rawest artists, and his time to blow seems to be coming sooner rather than later. It features production from local heavy hitters RONRON, Mike Free and RobTwo; as well as HNNBL, BEATBOYCCUSA, Shawn Beats, LowTheGreat and JOOG. The feature list is small, with verses from AzCult member AzChike & StincTeam rapper Ketchy The Great.
SWAYEMADDEN wastes no time getting straight to the point. AzSWAYE jumps things off with a high-energy anthem titled SWAYEPAC, letting everyone know how legendary he's going to be and who's really making plays in these streets. He says, "To Live & Die In LA, This Is My Town."
"To Live & Die In LA, This Is My Town."
The first 3/4 of SWAYEMADDEN continue on this note. A lot of G shit, a lot of shit talking, and a whole lot of bars. LANE SWITCH feat. Ketchy The Great is a highlight, with both rappers bringing their A-game over a beat provided by RONRON and JOOG. Tracks like 'Mo Money' and 'Gun Models' are speaker breaking bangers with menacing undertones.
It takes just one listen to hear how real this music is. AzSWAYE isn't lying.

The last few tracks on SWAYEMADDEN are a little change of pace for the reserved, stone-cold artist that AzSWAYE normally is. 'Nobody' has the same active feel, but it's message is more personal. AzSWAYE breaks down the logic behind keeping his circle so small saying, "Just Cult, I Don't Fuck With Nobody.
The last 3 tracks are extremely deep and insightful songs about things that a lot of rappers tend to shy away from. Things like love, dealing with personal demons, and dealing with brokenness. Instead of portraying an image of superhero-like perfection, AzSWAYE embodies his struggles and imperfections - using them to show everyone what makes him stand out as an artist.
