Rolling Loud 2017 is probably the biggest hip hop festival in the entire state. It's the festival's first installment in LA, and they brought out the big guns as far as the lineup is concerned. They also tapped a bunch of local talent, and we gathered a list of each artist from the LA area - big and small. Check them all out below:

Heavy Mellow - Sunday, Dab Stage, 2:05 - 2:25

This LA based artist is one of the few producer/DJ’s on the lineup. We honestly hadn’t heard of him prior to seeing his name on the lineup, but he’s got some insane mashups in the Rolling Loud mix on his SoundCloud. If you pull up early on Sunday, check out his set for a little change of pace.

Tyla Yaweh - Saturday, Dab Stage, 1:35 - 1:55

Hollywood’s Tyla Yaweh is an eccentric artist with music that’ll turn you up whether you’re familiar or not. This is his first taste of a festival this large, making it interesting to see how he does on such a massive stage. We’re looking forward to seeing him take a step towards stardom with a big time set, even if it is early.

Leven Kali - Saturday, Loud Stage, 1:55 - 2:10

One of the most intriguing early sets of the entire weekend, Santa Monica product Leven Kali is a gifted vocalist with major breakout potential heading into 2018. He’s got ties to Playboi Carti, and we’re guessing that he’ll be winning over a lot of new fans during his set. He has an amazing voice, and music that really inspires if you listen to what he's saying.

Dumbfoundead - Saturday, Loud Stage, 3:30 - 3:50

The only Asian artist on the lineup this weekend, Dumbfoundead is a creative lyricist straight out of Koreatown. He’s seen big time success as a battle rapper and Youtube sensation, but he’s been cranking out some awesome original music lately, and will look to get more of it out there with a solid set on Saturday.

Duckwrth - Sunday, Loud Stage, 2:55 - 3:15

One of the most musically inclined artists on the lineup, it’s a bit of a shame that Duckwrth doesn’t have a longer set. However, you can bet that he will pack the 20 minutes he has with high energy and a ton of dancing. Plus, his music is awesome. His debut album I’m Uugly is a work of art. Duckwrth could be a major sleeper set this weekend.

Jay 305 - Saturday, Loud Stage, 3:00 - 3:20

A product of South Central, Jay 305 is well known among local hip hop heads. He has an early set on Saturday, but you can bet that his hometown faithful’s will be in attendance to see him take the stage. Plus, you know there’s gonna be hella ass shaking when he does ‘Yuck It Up.’

SHORELINE MAFIA - Sunday, Sauce Stage, 5:25 - 5:55

Man, the come up for these dudes has been remarkable to watch. Over the course of the year the massive team that is SHORELINE MAFIA went from local, cult favorites to seeing viral success and an interview with adam22 on No Jumper. They’ve only seen the stage of small venues, but find themselves immediately in the big leagues with a 30 minute set @ Rolling Loud. We can’t fucking wait.

Buddy - Saturday, Sauce Stage, 5:25 - 5:55

One of Compton’s most creative MC’s, Buddy somehow flies below the radar for many hip hop fans, but we’ve been fucking with him from the jump here on SLAP. His Rolling Loud set on Saturday is going to turn anyone in crowd, into a fan. He’s an electric performer with a deep catalog of uplifting bangers. Be there. You won’t be disappointed.

RJ - Saturday, Sauce Stage, 6:45 - 7:15

Mr. LA takes the stage on Day 1 & will look to make an impact at one of his first major festival appearances. While he has a strong fanbase in LA, Rolling Loud will be an opportunity for him to branch out and reel in some fans that may not be in tune with his West Coast style of rap. With #TheGhetto, a collab project with DJ Mustard, releasing just this week - you can almost be that he’ll be there as well… and maybe YG as well.

Lil Xan - Sunday, 7:40 - 8, Sauce Stage

On Sunday, the Dab Stage is packed with some of SoundCloud’s biggest names, so it’s fitting that Redlands native Lil Xan is the one who gets to shut it down. 2017 has been his year, as he’s gone from below the radar to all over the internet in less than a year. His set will surely be packed with fans, and the twenty minutes he gets on stage is more than enough for him to crank out hits like ‘Betrayed’ and ‘Slingshot.’

Jaden Smith - Saturday, Loud Stage, 6:45 - 7:15

Whether you’re excited or skeptical to see Jaden Smith’s first performance since his debut album SYRE, you have to admit - it’s going to be fucking epic. A true showman, Jaden is sure to blow the minds of fans with his show’s aesthetic and vibe. You’re not going to want to miss this moment.

Schoolboy Q - Saturday, Loud Stage, 11 - 12

The South Central superstar is headlining Rolling Loud’s first night, and it might be his biggest show ever. While he has performed at Coachella and headlined the Odd Future Carnival in the past, the star power on this lineup combined with the fact that Q is closing makes this a really big deal, even for an artist as accomplished as he is. All eyes will be on Schoolboy Q, and you can be sure he’s going to give it his all.

*Honorable Mention* SESHOLLOWATERBOYZ - Sunday, 5:25 - 6:25

While Bones, Chris Travis, Xavier Wulf & Eddy Baker are not technically from LA, the SESHOLLOWATER team has had a tremendous impact on the underground hip hop scene out here, and they have been based out of LA for quite some time. Their sets are highlights every time they have them, and you better believe they’re going to tear it down on Sunday. Be ready to mosh.
