AzSWAYE surprised the streets with his CULTBOY EP today, a 4-track project that was recorded in just one hour last night. Remarkably, nothing about these songs sounds forced or rushed at all. Each line is as meaningful and calculated as any of SWAYE's music. As always, he provides unfiltered commentary of life in the LA streets; comparing his experiences in the field to what athletes do on theirs.

He's got a no nonsense attitude, hammering home the idea that he doesn't need anybody but his team, AzCult. With a team as stacked as AzSWAYE, AzChike & AzBenzz, we don't blame him for wanting to keep the circle small.

The project is produced by Low The Great, who delivers with a flurry of drum infused bangers for SWAYE to talk his shit on. The last track, 'These DAyz,' is co produced by Low, Ron Ron & BeatBoy - an all-star team of LA's hottest young producers.

CULTBOY EP is a nice reminder that AzSWAYE is one of the city's hardest rappers, and one that deserves a lot more recognition for what he does. We have a feeling he and the rest of the Cult will be getting the attention they deserve. Listen below:
