Huey Briss new release 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad' is out and it's some of his most insightful work. He lays down bars over the genius production of Chuck Strangers, Pro Era's super producer. It sounds more like live music at a fancy restaurant than a hip hop beat; with guitar riffs, bongos and probably a bunch of other instruments that our ears don't fully process. Whatever it's got in it, the beat is crazy good & it seems tailor made for a dude like Huey Briss.
He digs deep on this one, telling the story of a young man working to build a legacy all the while keeping in mind the day that he'll be a father. Everyone wants to be a rich dad, but it's not that easy. It's a lifelong process to get there, and only the persistent can achieve it.
